Covid-19 Vaccines for Kids on the Horizon

Kids everywhere are back in schools, and parents are understandably nervous about the potential for their unvaccinated children to get sick with Covid-19. Many will be relieved to hear that Dr. Fauci predicts children aged 5-11 will be able to receive the Pfizer vaccine as soon as late October. The Moderna vaccine will probably be available for the same age group about one month later. It is crucial that parents wait for the FDA to authorize the drug, as correct doses will depend on age and weight.
